Simply Moving

Living in the day to day, caught up in the way you make your living
Watching your life slip away, knowing Father Time is unforgiving
Maybe you don’t know yet how the problems of this world might be resolved
And so you sit and shake your head, instead of getting actively involved

But simply moving sets in motion
Get the forces of nature on your side
And if faith can move a mountain
Making waves can turn the tide

You know that there are mighty men with wealth and power far beyond your measure
But there are also multitudes whose hidden hearts are like a buried treasure
If you could communicate, you’d find that you are really not alone
And hearts that come together are the strongest force this world has ever known

And simply moving sets in motion
Get the forces of nature on your side
And if faith can move a mountain
Making waves can turn the tide

There are many hollow men, men of greed and selfish calculation
But they are superficial men; they are not the lifeblood of the nation
Only if you let them can they dominate, and weaken, and corrupt
But they tremble when they think this volcano that they stand on might erupt

And simply moving sets in motion
Get the forces of nature on your side
And if faith can move a mountain
Making waves will surely turn the tide
