It
is with great sadness and a broken heart that I write to you to tell
you that my sister, Marcia Potts, died today after surgery at Vanderbilt
Medical Center in Nashville. She was 64 years young. She was a wonderful
person and I will miss her for the rest of my life. Last Friday she
was mowing her lawn, and this Friday she is in a hearse on the way home
for the last time. Those who only knew her briefly or through me will never know what a wonderful person she was. Those who have known her longer know what an chasm this leaves. Her wishes are for her ashes to be spread on the Outer Banks, and Rampart Street. At some point I will accomplish this. She leaves behind 2 children, 2 grandchildren, 2 sisters and a brother in law, all of whom loved her dearly. - Mykle, May 20, 2011 |
